The LOOK Pivot 2.0 13 GW delivers most of what makes the Pivot special in a lighter, more accessible package. You still get the iconic turntable heel, the compact mounting footprint, and the generous elastic travel that have made this binding a favorite among skiers who spend their days in bumps, trees, soft snow, side hits, and technical resort terrain.

The Pivot heel provides 28mm of elastic travel, allowing the binding to absorb ski flex and sharp impacts before release becomes necessary. That combination of elasticity and retention is a big part of why the Pivot feels so calm when the ski is working hard underneath you.

Where the 13 differs most from the 15 is up front. Instead of the heavier aluminum Race toe, it uses LOOK’s Full Action toe. That brings the binding down to roughly 1120g per side and lowers the DIN range to 4.5–13, making it a better match for a broader group of advanced resort skiers who want Pivot performance without more binding than they actually need.

The result is a versatile, performance-driven binding that still feels unmistakably Pivot: connected, elastic, and comfortable when the mountain gets rough.

Mudroom Fit Note

The Pivot 2.0 13 GW has a 4.5–13 DIN range, weighs approximately 1120g per binding, and is offered in multiple brake widths. It is compatible with adult Alpine and GripWalk soles, but not touring/pin soles.

For both models, brake width, boot sole type, boot sole length, skier size, ability, and release setting all need to work together. The Pivot 15 is not automatically “better” because the DIN goes higher; for many skiers, the Pivot 13 is the more appropriate binding. Bring the boots and skis into Mudroom and we can make sure the setup makes sense before anything gets drilled.
